Home & Design, 2012 Portfolio
Known for his straightforward, instinctive, cosmopolitan interior architecture and design, Vincent Sagart creates an almost symbiotic relationship between architecture, interiors and lighting, often blending styles and influences. “I believe that you do not have to be a Minimalist to create spaces that are streamlined, peaceful and organized,” he says. “You can create that aesthetic with things that have history too.”
Sagartstudio exclusively represents a host of European products, including Poliform cabinetry, Varenna kitchens, Kreon architectural lighting, Agape bath fixtures and TRE Piu doors. According to Sagart, it is his direct relationship with these manufacturers that sets his company apart. “What we design is produced in our ‘own’ factories, he explains. “We exercise complete control. It’s one of the reasons why we have so many loyal return clients and enjoy strong relationships with architects and designers.”
Whether he is renovating a kitchen for a young family, restoring a multi-generational family home or developing half a dozen penthouses, Sagart stresses that his strength is flexibility. “We meet the client’s needs and budget,” he says. “And we connect with clients to create their new lifestyle.” The company’s award-winning work has been featured on HGTV and in publications nationally and in Europe.

Three generations frequently gather in a Kalorama kitchen (opposite), where a powerful canopy hood allows for indoor grilling; custom cabinetry and lighting deliver the atmosphere. In the kitchen of a young Bethesda family (above), limestone counters top high-gloss wood cabinets that are child-friendly and easy to maintain.
